How to Use

The LEAD Partner Portal

This quick guide shows superintendents, principals, counselors, coaches/ADs, and families how to navigate the portal, find the right resources fast, and support students through a complete, on-time application.

Universal Quick Start (All Audiences)

1) Check Eligibility & Key Dates

Use Check Eligibility (new tab) or the Quick Eligibility Pop-Up on the Partner Portal. Review the At-a-Glance Timeline for info sessions, application window, review, and notifications.

2) Open Your Role Tab

Go to Partner Resources by Role and select your tab: Superintendent • Principal • Counselor • Coaches/ADs • Parents/Students.

3) Download Your Toolkit

Use the Download buttons for letters, emails, flyers/posters, slide decks, and scripts. Use Copy Link to share files internally.

4) Attend an Information Session

Scroll to Information Sessions (Zoom) and select a date to register. Encourage students and families to join.

5) Apply (When Open)

In the Parents/Students tab, follow the links to: Application (Submittable), Video Interview, and Recommendation forms (coach + teacher).

Support & Access: Need language access or accommodations? Use the portal’s Request Info form; our team will follow up.

Role-Based Guidance

Superintendents

Announce LEAD district-wide and equip schools.

  • Download District One-Pager, Official Letter, and Email Copy Block.
  • Share the portal URL and encourage staff to attend info sessions.
  • Feature eligibility and dates in district newsletters and site.

Principals

Activate your campus quickly and consistently.

  • Send the Principal Launch Email to staff and counseling.
  • Post the Bulletin Blurb to announcements/newsletters.
  • Use the Staff Slide Deck for a 5-minute staff huddle.

Counselors

Guide students through eligibility and submission.

  • Use the Counselor Briefing Deck for a 10–15 min overview.
  • Print posters/flyers for counseling centers and hallways.
  • Create a list of seniors intending to apply; nudge for two recs and the video interview.

Coaches / ADs

Get the message to teams; reinforce deadlines.

  • Use the Coach Toolkit (locker-room script + team chat snippets).
  • Hand out the Team QR Flyer after practice; post in locker rooms.
  • Encourage multi-sport participation and info session attendance.

Parents / Guardians & Students

Confirm eligibility and submit a strong, on-time application.

  • Download the Student Checklist and Parents’ Guide.
  • Join an info session for Q&A.
  • Complete Application, Video Interview, and two Recommendations.
Pro Tip: Start recommendations early—coaches and teachers need time. Aim to submit one week before the deadline.
