Change Make*Hers Gala by The Taylor LEAD Foundation is back on February 10
Tables and sponsorships are now available for Boise’s celebration of girls and women in sport, following a sold-out inaugural year
BOISE, Idaho — October 1, 2026 — The Taylor LEAD Foundation, a Boise-based nonprofit advancing girls and women through education, athletics, and leadership, announced today that tables and sponsorships are now open for the 2027 Change Make*Hers Gala, returning February 10, 2027, at Boise Centre West. The first-ever Change Make*Hers Gala, held on National Girls & Women in Sports Day on February 4, 2026, was a huge success. The sold-out event drew 308 high-power guests, from Muffy Davis, Kristin Armstrong and Tara VanDerveer to teammates from Nations United Soccer and daughters and friends who all contributed to the inspirational, energetic and uplifting evening. Because of last year’s success, the Foundation is opening tables and sponsorships early to meet demand.
The Change Make*Hers Gala is the signature annual fundraising event of The Taylor LEAD Foundation, supporting iWIN Sports™ (Idaho Women and Girls in Sports), the Foundation’s statewide platform built on a simple idea: Play, Stay, Lead. Its programming helps girls get into sport, stay in it through the years when many step away, and lead well beyond it, through the iWIN IX Grants, Game On! Sports 4 Girls camps and clinics, the iWIN Networking Collective, and the Changemakers Circuit. As the Foundation puts it: “We all win when girls are powered to play.”
This year’s Change Make*Hers Gala caps a week of national celebration that begins with National Girls & Women in Sports Day on February 3, 2027, its 40th anniversary. This year’s theme, The Long Game, reflects a simple belief: investing in a girl’s first season is an investment in her whole life. The evening will feature a keynote, signature activations including the Heat on Your Feet® Sneaker Cam, and the recognition of a class of Idaho icons, athletes, administrators, and community leaders who have shaped the landscape for girls and women in sport. The keynote speaker and honorees will be announced in the coming weeks.
